Returning by popular demand, ‘Ōlohe Umi Kai will lead participants in creating kōkō pūʻalu, knotted net carriers. Kōkō pūʻalu, lit. slack net carrier, are used for carrying a wide variety of items, including ʻumeke and ipu wai in both tradional and contemporary contexts.
