Bishop Museum November 2025 Exhibitions, Public Programs, and Events

November sees Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole’s storied 40-foot racing canoe, the Aʻa, return to the ocean for the first time in more than a decade. All are welcome to Hoʻi i ke Kai: Launch of the Aʻa which will take place at Keʻehi Lagoon at sunrise on Nov. 8, 2025. Also in November, Bishop Museum celebrates Lā Kūʻokoʻa, the Independence Day of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Bishop Museum Launching Fall Annual Fund Campaign

Bishop Museum, the State of Hawai‘i Museum of Natural and Cultural History, is launching its Fall Annual Fund Campaign. From Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2025, #HawaiisMuseum asks for the community’s financial support of its staff and their critical work: exploring, celebrating, and perpetuating the extraordinary history, culture, and environment of Hawaiʻi and the Pacific.
