‘Ola ka noʻeau’ can be translated as ‘excellence lives.’ Through this exhibition, we honor Hawaiʻi’s rich arts and culture, and hope to promote arts resilience in our community. To this end, Ola Ka Noʻeau: Excellence in Hawaiian Artistry is developed around the themes of genealogy, relationships, and hana noʻeau, or art practices."
