The second installment in our commemorative series turns to Maʻa — becoming familiar, practiced, and grounded in relationship.
Through reflections on Kahoʻolawe and the legacy of the Protect Kahoʻolawe ʻOhana, this talk story session explores how pilina to Kanaloa and to ʻāina is cultivated over time through commitment, ʻike, and action.
As we mark 50 years of Aloha ʻĀina, we consider how the lessons of Kahoʻolawe continue to shape identity, stewardship, and the modern Aloha ʻĀina Movement.
