Journey beneath the waves and back in time at Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum’s newest exhibit, Expedition Dinosaur: Into the Deep. This expansive 7,000-square-foot exhibit highlights fascinating parallels between prehistoric marine ecosystems and the diverse aquatic habitats surrounding our islands today.

Visitors of all ages will delight in interactive and engaging activities, including fossil digs, augmented reality sandboxes that explore volcanic island formation, dinosaur-themed animation studios, and the immersive “Journey to the Deep Theater.” Connect with Earth’s ancient past, fostering a deeper appreciation for our islands’ natural history and the ocean life that continues to define our home.
Expedition Dinosaur: Into the Deep is free for Bishop Museum Members at the Patron level and above. All other membership levels, as well as the two guests of Patron level and above members, will be charged a special exhibition admission fee of $3.00 per person.
