Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum is honored to welcome our Kalihi neighbors participating in the 2026 Kalihi Ahupuaʻa Ride. Coordinated by Kalihi Valley Instructional Bike Exchange (KVIBE), a project of Kōkua Kalihi Valley, Kalihi Ahupuaʻa Ride is a community bike ride from ma uka to ma kai across the ahupuaʻa and community of Kalihi. This eight-mile downhill ride is organized and led by youth, highlighting several “story stops” where riders learn about the cultural and historical significance of each place and its role in transforming the vibrant neighborhood over time. …
