What "Going Digital" Means

Going digital means your membership card will be accessible immediately and …

  • You’ll be able to download your card to your smart phone or mobile device, or print at home
  • Your membership status and card will update in real time when you renew online
  • Members can review their name on file and membership status at any time
  • Each adult member will have their own individual card
  • No more waiting for a card to arrive in the mail, for a seamless entrance into Bishop Museum!
  • Digital membership cards help us reduce paper in our fulfillment process

All active members will receive a launch email from Membership@BishopMuseum.org inviting them to access their digital membership cards on March 15, 2022. If the link in your launch email has expired, reach out to us by replying to the email. After March 10, members will be automatically enrolled in digital membership cards with their initial purchase of membership and next renewal.

Membership Portal

We are also working to improve the membership and online user experience with a Membership Portal that will be accessible at BishopMuseum.org, launching in Spring 2022. The Membership Portal will provide an interface where members can view their membership status and contact information on file, recent online transactions, and program and event registrations. Additionally, exclusive content will be delivered and accessible through this portal – no more digging through emails and junk and spam folders!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your digital membership card will be emailed to you and your email address on file will be your login to the Membership Portal. Contact us at Membership@BishopMuseum.org if you are unsure whether we have your preferred email on file.

We have listed some FAQs below with more details on digital membership cards. If you have a question that’s not answered here, please send us an email at Membership@BishopMuseum.org.
