Celebrate the opening of Spineless Wonders: Rising from the Deep! Meet Susan Middleton, acclaimed nature photographer, whose work will be on view alongside rarely seen marine invertebrates from the Museum’s collections. Visitors will also get a peek behind the scenes as Museum researchers Holly Bolick and Ken Longenecker bring out specimens not already on display and share the latest in diving technology. The talks will be followed by a book signing with Susan Middleton. Middleton’s book Spineless: Portraits of Marine Invertebrates, the Backbone of Life features a collection of over 250 stunning images combining art and science. It will be on sale for a special price of $50.00 including tax (after the event the price is $59.99, plus tax); cash and credit cards will be accepted.
