Join the Bishop Museum ‘ohana as we celebrate the opening of Mai Kinohi Mai: Surfing in Hawai‘i

• Dive into our original exhibit that features iconic and historic surfboard collections, interactive spaces exploring ocean science and sustainability, as well as rare archival surf memorabilia and contemporary surf footage.
• Learn about the natural materials and tools used in the past to create both surfboards and canoes with the Museum’s Education Team. Then put your knowledge into practice by helping to construct a small canoe!
• Get crafty with Art Explorium earth-friendly art activities! Decorate your own mini surfboard ornament and DIY wrapping paper.
