From Kealakai Center for Pacific Strings and Bishop Museum, a gift for you this holiday season: “Kaula Piko: Leʻa I Ke Kani Concert, Featuring the Legendary Ledward Kaapana and Special Guests,” a FREE concert based on our musical exhibit, “Kaula Piko: The Source of Strings,” broadcast and livestreamed from the Museum’s historic Hawaiian Hall!
Join the legendary Ledward Kaapana and a cast of award-winning special guests for a musical journey through time, to “the source of strings.” This concert will bring to life the stories in “Kaula Piko: The Source of Strings,” illuminating Hawaiʻi’s pivotal contributions and long-running legacy of excellence, innovation, and global influence in the modern musical arts.
