Hawaii International Film Festival: The Wind & The Reckoning

Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022
4:30 – 9 pm
Great Lawn

HIFF is excited to partner again with Bishop Museum to present two “Made in Hawai‘i” feature films as outdoor screening celebrations at the historic museum’s signature event venue, the Great Lawn. As the premier exhibitor of international cinema in Hawai‘i and the leading organization dedicated to showcasing Hawai‘i films and filmmakers across the globe, this elevated event is a key part of HIFF’s mission.

On Thursday, Nov. 3, HIFF screens The Wind & The Reckoning, and on Friday, Nov. 4, The Story of Everything. Both screenings will feature pre-show Hawaiian music and entertainment from major acts like Makana and poet laureate Kealoha. Food trucks will also be on site. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy these films under the stars in one of the premiere Hawaiian cultural spaces in Honolulu.
