This landmark film brings together Hawaiian language speakers from across the pae ʻāina (Hawaiian Islands), featuring performances by Auliʻi Cravalho and Kaʻikena Scanlan, alongside a new generation of kamaliʻi (children) making their debut in the world of production.\nAfter receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana journeys alongside Maui and a new crew to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.\nThis screening is a celebration of ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, intergenerational storytelling, and the power of ancestral knowledge.
