Once you’ve completed the form, simply sign out.\nNot a member? Join today!\nProgram Overview\nJoin us for the Stars Tonight at Bishop Museum! Examine the skies with a presenter in our planetarium, featuring the stars, planets, astronomical highlights, and other stories of the current season.\nIn the months of solstices and equinoxes, the evening program will take a trivia format! Supplies will be provided. Participation in the trivia responses is optional, and guests can otherwise just opt to enjoy this question-filled exploration of our view from Earth.\nFamilies encouraged for the 6:00 p.m. showtime. Question difficulty increases in the 7:30 p.m. showtime.\nEvening’s Schedule\n\n5:30 p.m. – Check-in begins. Enjoy planetarium lobby exhibits and views over the Great Lawn.\n5:45 p.m. – Seating begins for 6:00 p.m. ticketholders.\n6:00 p.m. – The Stars Tonight planetarium show. One-hour-long seated theater experience.\n7:00 p.m. – Stargazing begins, weather permitting, with the Hawaiian Astronomical Society.\n7:15 p.m. – Seating begins for 7:30 p.m. ticketholders.\n7:30 p.m. – The Stars Tonight planetarium show. One-hour-long seated theater experience\n8:30 p.m. – Stargazing continues, weather permitting.\n9:00 p.m. – Event close.\n\n \n*Registration closes one hour before each scheduled showtime. Tickets are only available for purchase online. No on-site registration will be allowed at the event. No entry without confirmed pre-registration due to limited seating.\n**Guests 3 and under will be expected to share a seat with an adult/guardian.\nProgram Details\n\nThis is an in-person event at the J. Watumull Planetarium at Bishop Museum. No online options or recordings will be available.\nSeating is first come, first served.\nNo late seating. Doors close at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. when each program begins. Please plan to arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to program start.\nCheck-in and entry will be near Bishop Museum’s Shop Pacifica (front entrance and gift shop). The check-in table will be located at the top of the main staircase/ramp and to the right.\nCheck-in and viewing of the planetarium lobby will begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors open for first planetarium show seating at 5:45 p.m. and second show seating at 7:15 p.m. Each showing will last an hour.\nNo food or drink allowed in the planetarium.\nThe planetarium is fairly cool; you may want to bring a light sweater.\nEvening parking is $5. Please pay for parking using a mobile phone through a posted Parklinq QR code (card payments only) or have your member parking sticker on your car. Please see Directions and Parking for more information.\nTickets are fully refundable until two hours before the selected showtime. Less than two hours before the scheduled start of the first show, ticket sales are non-refundable.
