NORTHWESTERN HAWAIIAN ISLAND EXPEDITION COMES TO A CLOSE, RAPTURE RETURNS TO HONOLULU THURSDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 19 Tomorrow, at daybreak, the research vessel Rapture will return to Honolulu after her 30-day scientific expedition to the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. The vessel is scheduled to arrive into Honolulu Harbor around 7:30 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., after the vessel clears U.S. Customs and an agricultural inspection, the principal investigators and key scientists will hold a brief news conference dockside at Snug Harbor.
