MARINE INVERTEBRATES

Marine invertebrates include a number of very different types of animals: crabs, shrimp, lobsters, clams, sea urchins, starfish, snails, worms, and many others.  These animals make up many of the species that make the coral reefs of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands such a diverse and interesting ecosystem.
