Duplicate images of most of the one million photographs in the Archives are available in various formats and sizes.Since the strength of the Archives' photo collection is historical, most of the original images are in black and white or sepia tones.

Black and white prints are available in 4x5, 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, 20x24, and 24x36 sizes printed on resin coated paper in your choice of glossy or matte finish. Sizes 16x20 and larger are only available in matte finish.
Color prints on resin coated paper with a glossy or matte finish can be ordered in 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 sizes. Normal processing time for prints is 7 business days if a negative exists. Without a negative, 20 business days is required. Rush processing (1 business day/3-6 business days) for images with negatives is also available.
Digital scans of images can be ordered on 31/2" diskettes (one image/disk), Zip disks, or as e-mail attachments. Scanned images may not be available for all images, depending on the condition of the original print. Processing time for scans is 3 business days.

OTHER PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Original transparencies of prints up to 16x20 are available in 35 mm and 4x5 sizes.
Duplicate transparencies of 35 mm, 4x5 slides can also be ordered.
Photocopy services provided by archival staff to ensure proper preservation of collection items are available for $0.50 per page with a $3.00 minimum. Use fees and the filling out of the Archives' Usage Right Agreement are required for any non-personal uses of Archives' materials, including publication, display, advertising, and other commercial uses, etc.
Fax services and standard postal shipping services are available for domestic and international customers. Bishop Museum Association members receive a 10 percent discount on all products and services of the Archives.
