Betty KamBetty Kam, Vice President for Cultural Collections

Aloha, my name is Betty Kam, and I’m the Director of Cultural Resources at Bishop Museum. Bishop Museum hold some of the world’s best collections of 18th and 19th century oil paintings depicting Hawai‘i.

Each image in the collection represents a treasured vision of Hawai‘i, its history, and its people. By “Adopting a Painting” you can underwrite the restoration of a specific painting which will allow us to continue our efforts to prepare these important pieces of Hawai‘i’s history for eventual display in our Picture Gallery.
