Tributes and Memorials offer a wonderful way to honor family and friends and support Bishop Museum’s collections, exhibitions, and educational programs at the same time. The mission of Bishop Museum, to study, preserve and tell the stories of the cultures and natural history of Hawai‘i and the Pacific, cannot be accomplished without your support.
With over 330,000 families visiting the Museum each year, there is no better way to pay tribute or remember a loved one in a meaningful and recognizable way than through a tribute or memorial gift at Bishop Museum.
Your contribution will be acknowledged with a personalized card sent to the honored individual or family. In addition, the name of the individual being honored will be listed in Bishop Museum’s Annual Report and in the Ka ‘Elele, the Museum’s quarterly newsletter.
A Tribute Gift provides a meaningful, living tribute to a friend, relative, or colleague by commemorating a special occasion. Celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events with a Tribute gift to the Museum in honor of your loved one.
You can also remember a loved one or express your sympathy with a Memorial gift to the Museum. A Memorial is a personal remembrance that honors a deceased friend, relative, or colleague.
A charitable contribution in a loved one’s name to the Museum is a unique and meaningful gift. Your contribution will be acknowledged with a personalized card sent to the honored individual or family.
