Bishop Museum will hold its 9th Annual Bernice Pauahi Bishop Awards Dinner on the magnificent grounds of the Museum. Saturday, August 25, 2007, will mark a third year of celebration on the Museum’s Great Lawn.
Bishop Museum is pleased to award W. Allen Doane, Chairman and CEO of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. with the Charles Reed Bishop medal, and present the Honorable Senator Daniel K. Akaka, United States Senator of Hawai‘i with the Robert J. Pfeiffer medal.
These are Bishop Museum’s highest honors, which are given every year to distinguished members of the community. Event Chair Walter A. Dods, Jr. plans to create yet another memorable evening with a menu presented by Hawai‘i’s premier restaurants, including: Alan Wong’s, Chef Mavro, d.k. Steak House, ‘Elua Restaurant & Wine Bar, Halekulani, Hiroshi’s Eurasian Tapa’s, Nalo Farms, Nobu Waikiki, Pacific Club, and Roy’s. Celebrity Chef, Susur Lee, of Restaurant Susur from Toronto, Canada also joins the culinary artists to create wonderful and appetizing dishes.
