Holiday Party Venues Open
It happens every year…someone forgets to book a spot for the company holiday party. YIKES! If you’ve put off finding a location for your holiday bash, fear not! Bishop Museum’s Facility Rentals Director Linda Chock may just be your special Christmas angel. Chock, who heads up Bishop Museum’s popular facility rentals program, has just announced discounted holiday rental rates for a variety of venues suitable for holiday parties at Bishop Museum.
Atherton Hālau is available from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for breakfast or lunch events; or from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. for evening gatherings. The discounted rental fee of $720 includes 25 tables, 200 chairs, full kitchen, stage, podium, sound system, private bathrooms and private garden area.
The Great Lawn, with its stunning views of Diamond Head, Honolulu city lights, and the iconic Hawaiian Hall is available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Discounted from $2500 to $2000, the Great Lawn can host large picnics and tented evening galas for large crowds. Amenities include special daytime admission rates for your guests between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. as well as hostess service.
The Mauka and Makai Gallery Lawn Combo, in front of Hawaiian Hall, is available from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. only at the discounted rate of $720. These areas include tenting, lighting, stage, scullery sink, sound system, 25 tables and 200 chairs, as well as free parking. This area is perfect for cocktail or buffet gatherings for 30 to 250 people.
Chock says Hawai‘i Maritime Center is also available for rental for private
functions for up to 300 persons at a discounted rate of $1600. Located at Pier 7 on historic Honolulu Harbor and owned by Bishop Museum, the Hawai‘i Maritime Center celebrates Hawaii’s rich maritime history through exhibits, displays, and rare maritime artifacts The rental includes free admission for guests, but parking is offered at regular rates at the Aloha Tower.
Parking is free at Bishop Museum for all your holiday parties.
