BISHOP MUSEUM ’S NEW SCIENCE ADVENTURE CENTER OPENS TO PUBLIC ON NOVEMBER 19

**Interactive exhibits found nowhere else on earth**

HONOLULU – Bishop Museum opens the doors to its new 16,500-square-foot Science Adventure Center on Saturday, November 19. Presented by Bank of Hawaii, the special day-long grand opening, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. , celebrates Hawai‘i’s science and culture with interactive presentations, fun keiki activities, and live entertainment.

Marking the occasion in grand fashion, the event will feature a special performance by the lovely ladies of Na Leo Pilimehana singing songs from their new CD, “Feel the Spirit.” The event will be the only opportunity for people to hear songs from the new album performed live in Hawai‘i for the rest of the year. The soothing sounds of HAPA and the melodic voice of Moloka‘i falsetto songstress Raiatea Helm will allow the perfect opportunity for guests to relax on the Great Lawn with the beautiful backdrop of the volcanic eruptions in the Science Adventure Center.
