KONA BREWING COMPANY AT KOKO MARINA DONATES $2,500 TO BISHOP MUSEUM ASSOCIATION

Kona Brewing Company at Koko Marina raised $2,500 for Bishop Museum Association as part of its one-year anniversary celebration. The donation will be used to support Bishop Museum’s cultural and natural science programs that serve more than 300,000 people each year. With the assistance of Bishop Museum Collections, Kona Brewing Company at Koko Marina also unveiled an exhibit of archival photos of Hawai‘i Kai that is now displayed in the restaurant.

“We were thrilled to partner with members of the community in order to raise money for the institution entrusted to preserve the rich culture and history of Hawaii,” said Kona Brewing Company president, Mattson Davis. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Bishop Museum.”

The two-week fundraising campaign for Bishop Museum was held from December 4-17. Kona Brewing Company donated $1 to the Bishop Museum Association for every pint of Kona Brew sold.

“We want to thank Kona Brewing Company for their contribution to the museum,” said Bishop Museum President and CEO Bill Brown. “We applaud members of our community who graciously provide support to keeping the culture and history of Hawai’i alive.”
