January 11, 2005 HONOLULU— Bishop Museum has announced the following appointments to its Marketing and Development departments: Shaun Chillingworth has been named Marketing and Public Relations Manager. He is responsible for the development and coordination of special events and coordination of public relations efforts with the Museum’s agency of record, and supports advertising, promotion and other branding initiatives for the Museum, including Hawai‘i Maritime Center. Chillingworth earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago in spring 2003. Dymian Racoma has been named Membership Manager. He manages the Museum’s membership program comprised of more than 25,000 members, develops and supports programs for member retention and growth, and serves as editor of the Museum’s quarterly member newsletter. Prior to joining the Museum, Racoma served as data analyst for the University of Hawaii’s Office of Internal Affairs. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Hawai‘i-Manoa. Shirley Tesoro Amundson has been named Development Manager, and is responsible for coordinating and preparing foundation proposals. She will also assist with the coordination of fundraising and donor cultivation events. Amundson earned an associate’s degree from Canon’s Business College. A treasured resource of Hawaiian history and heritage Bishop Museum was founded in 1889 by Charles Reed Bishop as a tribute to his wife Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last descendant of the royal Kamehameha dynasty.
