BISHOP MUSEUM SEEKS CRAFT VENDORS FOR 2 ND ANNUAL CANDY CANE LANE
HONOLULU – Santa’s elves are gearing up for Bishop Museum’s Candy Cane Lane. The annual holiday event, which will take place December 11 & 12, 2004, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., is seeking crafters to sell their items and offer make-and-take crafts and holiday gifts.
Candy Cane Lane features festive craft workshop stations, a holiday train, pictures with Santa and the finest in make-and-take crafts – including edible offerings, and live entertainment. For more information about how to participate as a vendor or sponsor please call Bishop Museum at 848-4171.
A treasured resource of Hawaiian history and heritage, Bishop Museum was founded in 1889 by Charles Reed Bishop as a tribute to his wife Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last descendant of the royal Kamehameha dynasty. Located at 1525 Bernice Street, the Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $14.95 for adults; $11.95 for youth 4-12 years; special rates for kama‘āina, seniors and military; children under 4 years and Bishop Museum Association members are free.
