• The male mosquito doesn't suck blood, but uses the long mouth parts to suck plant juices.

Nalo Meli (Honey Bee)

• Stinger of a honey bee worker.
• There are barbs on the stinger that stick in your skin when the bee stings, and also large poison sacs.
• Queen bees and wasps have smooth stingers and they can sting many times.

• Big claws on front legs grab your hairs for anchors.
• Mouth parts pierce your scalp and feed on blood.
• If ukus have laid eggs on your scalp, you can see the eggs (nits) as tiny white capsules that are glued to your hair.

Uku Lio (Bed Bug)

• Bed bugs feed on humans.
• You can't feel them while they are feeding.
