Science in Toyland
Domino Challenge
Set up the domino blocks. Tip the first block to see what happens.
One small action like tipping a simple domino block can start
a whole series of events linked in a chain reaction. Avalanches,
earthquakes, and multiple car accidents are examples of this
phenomenon.
It's easy to explore chain reactions with marbles and playing cards.
