Conduct an investigation of specimens collected at a Hawai'i stream -- fish, mollusks, crustaceans and insects - as part of a biological survey to assess the impact of a hypothetical construction project on the stream. Use a dichotomous key and specimen reference collection to identify species under the microscopes, and then research the species using actual field guides. Make an assessment of the health of the stream and the presence of native and alien species.
