Who Wants to Be ... An Astronaut?

Grades K-6

Be in a fun, educational game show to learn all about the International Space Station and then answer questions and perform physical challenges about living and working in space. Three student teams compete with the audience cheering them on!

WIPEOUT! Wind, Waves, and Hawaii's Coasts

Grades 5-8

Ever wonder about the science behind the ocean’s motion? In this lively program, students will participate in an educational game show learning about oceanography. Four student teams will then compete answering questions and performing physical challenges about ocean science and working in the deep!

Formation of the Hawaiian Islands

How did our island home come to be? Explore some scientific theories by participating in a dynamic illustration of volcanic island chain formation and plate tectonics. See the drama of the life cycle of a volcano!

Sky Talk (evening only)

Grades 3-12

Go on a tour of the current nighttime sky led by an astronomy educator. Settle in comfortably under the stars. Be guided by an expert with a giant flashlight, and a star map to locate constellations. Hear legends about the stars and explanations of special "events" of the solar system.
