Education rates and programs are valid only for schools in the Hawaiian Islands (Preschool through 12th grade). Hawaii-based, PreK through 12th grade schools are charge a flat rate admission cost; in other words there are no additional costs for educational programs.
Students: $5.00 each
Adults: $6.00 each (waived admission: PreK thru K—one per five students, 1st-12th grade—one per ten students)
To request a visit, you must submit the online School Visit Request Form at the bottom of this page at least 2 weeks prior to your earliest requested date. Due to the popularity of school programs, we may not be able to accommodate all requests. Please do not make transportation arrangements until you have received an email confirmation.
On the Day of your Museum Visit:
Bring a copy of School Visit Schedule for ALL adults/chaperones
Name tags are required for everyone at all times
Check-in at curbside with completed School Visit Check-in Form
Bring lunches in boxes or bags with school name printed on outside
Additional payment may be made at the Education Department
All Hawaii teachers may visit the Museum at no charge any day prior to your scheduled visit to become familiar with the Museum grounds and exhibits. Please contact the Bishop Museum Education Department (848.4168 or education@bishopmuseum.org) to set up this visit.
