Join Dr. Gary Ostrander, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education and Professor of Biochemical Oncology and Marine Biology at the Pacific Biomedical Research Institute at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, as he presents,"The Ten Things That Scare Me the Most as a Scientist." Dr Ostrander’s varied background, interests in many aspects of science, and concern about our rapidly technology and changing environment will be reflected in this compelling exploration of society’s challenges in the next century. He will explore issues ranging from climate change to pseudo-science that will become increasingly important in our lives. Anticipate an exciting and stimulating hour.

Bishop Museum’s Research Seminar Series is a monthly presentation featuring Museum and guest scientists discussing research in Hawai‘i, Asia and the Pacific.
