Bishop Museum zoologist Dr. Richard L. Pyle, gave a presentation his work using advanced diving technology to explore deep coral-reef environments (known as the Coral-Reef “Twilight Zone”, or “Mesophotic Coral Ecosystems), as well as the importance of Biodiversity for the future of Humanity, in the Thurston Memorial Chapel of his alma mater, Punahou School. The presentation was part of a Distinguished Lecture Series organized by the Waikiki Aquarium and Punahou Schools, and took place on November 19th, 2015. Check it out:
