Shop Pacifica
Aloha! We are your Ho‘okipa Ambassadors, here to welcome you during your visit! Our department comprises both Retail Shop and Ticket Box operations.
We are trained to welcome visitors and members by sharing the “aloha spirit”, to deliver the outstanding customer service expected from a world-class Museum, and to help create a unique cultural experience.
With the recent remodeling of our Shop Pacifica, we are in need of various floor fixtures to complete a well-rounded and special retail experience. We thank you in advance for fulfilling one of our wishes!
- Display Case
A new display case for the Shop Pacifica will allow us to display more high-value items for our visitors.
$1500 - Display Table
A new display table for the Shop Pacific will allow us to display more items for sale in the Shop.
$1000 - Daily Programming Software and Hardware
Help us serve you better! This software and hardware will allow us to run updates of our daily programs and upcoming events on the flat-screen monitors in our shop.
$8000 - Xerox copier
The old one has lasted us for over 7 years and it’s worn out. We need to replace it to make Xerox copies of vouchers, membership information etc.
$500 - Kapa patterned fabric
Kapa patterned fabric to be used as Shop display table covers; these fabric has the exact pattern from our Collection, thus making it very special and we can reference them to our patrons. We have books that will indicate the authenticity of the kapa designs.
$200 - 2 Portable displays locked showcases
To display various merchandise, from Picture Plus; currently we are very short of showcases space and this will help us make better merchandise presentation and capture that audience’s attention to the very special product that we sell.
